PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Diamond Masterz Baseball Club is a not for profit organization that primarily
services inner-city baseball and softball players. Our organization focuses on a
systematic baseball-softball and academic training program called “The System”. Our
goals are to enhance the quality of play in the inner-city recreational leagues, such as
Boys and Girls Club of Kansas City's RBI league and S.T.I.C.K.S to ultimately increase
college and professional level recruiting.
Diamond Masterz Baseball Club stands firm on the foundation that the most important
aspect of youth in serious competitive baseball is a secondary education opportunity.
PROGRAM GOALS
The Diamond Masterz Organization is a result driven organization that is
highly assessed by the goals that are set by our board members. These goals are to:
* Develop strong character within students athletes
* Enrich our communities by developing our youth into productive citizens
* Increase the baseball and softball presence within the inner-city
* Increase the opportunity for inner-city baseball and softball players to receive a
higher education through college athletics and academics
* Introduce the baseball culture to the youth culture of today
* Provide a vehicle for athletes to achieve self-worth and individual goals
* Provide highly trained baseball players to baseball programs
* Attract former/current major, minor and college level players
* Recruit untapped baseball talents in the Kansas City urban core
